When PUBG was breaking records left and right and boasting player counts that gave Valve’s Dota 2 a run for its money, Bluehole seemed content to rest on their laurels and sporadically introduce updates while refusing to respond to player criticisms. The battle royale boom of early-to-mid 2018 saw them making money hand-over-fist, and a major reason for that was due to their popularity in the Chinese gaming space. As a result, the developer wasn’t all that keen on doing anything to harm an extremely profitable economy despite the fact that it came at the behest of Western play
It’s not all bad, of course; players in southeast Asia, Oceania, and Russia have found queue times to be more tolerable since the update, and it has helped to lessen the tide of undesirable players in certain regions. That said, Bluehole hasn’t done enough to bring frustrated players back, and this is merely one of many major stability issues inherent in the experience. While titles like Epic Games’ Fortnite and the aforementioned Apex Legends seem to be providing much smoother, more player-friendly experiences, Bluehole appears to be doing little more than sit on their thumbs as the community which once vehemently supported their Project Windless moves on for greener pastu
UMP9: The UMP9 is a good all-around SMG that can go the distance with any match. Even though it eats bullets like popcorn, it uses 9mm bullets which are scattered all over the map like Christmas candy. So, players will clearly have no shortage of ammunition with it. It's most deadly at close to medium range and can be effective at chewing up other players' health status'. It's maybe not the best at using it as a primary weapon, but it's a handsome choice as a secondary
So, this campaign started before Megan and I got involved. Global Green and Omaze and PUBG Mobile basically figured out a way to combine what they do best. PUBG Mobile has access to all these people because they are as big as they are. They were in a world that so many people are involved in, with mobile gaming and all that. Omaze is this unbelievable company that's really good at coming up with fun ways of raising money and doing that. When they teamed up with Global Green, it just made sense for what they do. Then the aspect of bringing myself and my wife in to help promote it, and to help really get eyes on it, it became everybody going, "Okay, how do we use our platforms in the best way to raise awareness?" Then this party that we're doing December 9, with Twitch TV, that's another aspect of it. So the whole thing is one giant push. And PUBG Mobile has been amazing, and Omaze has been amazing, and Global Green is an amazing organization, so we really want to help them as much as we can with resources to combat what's going on in the Amazon and the fight for that, and just start there and hopefully g
The new and improved Dinoland is a much, much more interesting version of the original Vikendi's Dino Park, and it has only become a hotter destination now that it looks less like a reject from Fallout New Vegas' Novac and more like a miniature version of Jurassic Park . Featuring a large greenhouse, a food court, an archaeological museum, and multiple areas players can use to climb either up or down to get an advantage on their opponents, Vikendi's new Dinoland area is perfect for dropping into and exploring, but don't expect to find the best loot th
AKM: The AKM is one of the stronger assault rifles to use in PUBG . With one or two headshots, opponents (with lower-tier armor) will go down like a sack of potatoes. It also has a rather healthy range when shot in "small bursts." With a good scope, this rifle should be looked at as a solid alternative for sniping. Going hog-wild while spraying enemies with rapid-fire are best used secondar
A Chinese redditor recently posted an attempt at explaining the culture surrounding gaming in their home country, and they seem to suggest that, for many of their peers, the ends justify the means when it comes to online gaming. While most Western gamers are apt to feel that a victory is meaningless if they cheated their way to the top, a significant number of gamers in China don’t share those same qua
One thing that will almost always amplify the survival rate is being aware of the environments. A lot of players in PUBG run around randomly without understanding the situation and go down in a few quick shots, which is why it is essential to run from cover to co
A few other good locations in PUBG's updated Vikendi which it would be remiss not to mention are Goroka, Dobro Mesto (specifically, the shipyard area), Trevno, and the Coal Mine. While many players will want to shoot straight for locations like the Cement Factory, the Castle, Sawmill, and Volnova, these other, slightly lesser-traveled locations not only provide a good tactical advantage for players but often contain large amounts of top tier loot, which is something people will definitely need if they're looking to earn themselves a (likely frozen) chicken dinner in PlayerUnknown's BATTLEGROUN
