Grass Element Pals have an Offensive advantage over Ground Type Pals dealing 2x damage to them, but their damage will be halved when fighting against Fire Type Pals. Defensively, they are resistance to Ground types, but will receive 2x damage from Fire Type Pals.
Even its Partner Skill is amazing, allowing you to move over water riding on it without depleting stamina. Its Water element is also useful, as it counters the ever-so-powerful Fire Element. Jormuntide is as close to a perfect Pal as you can get in terms of combat.
Still, Azurobe is a great addition during the early and mid-game, especially if you haven't had a chance to capture a better Pal to fill its slot. Its Partner Skill applies Water Damage to the player's attacks while mounted, and Azurobe itself is decently bulky. Let's call Azurobe a great budget pick for a Dragon Pal.
Each element in Palworld is strong against one element and weak against another, barring Fire and Neutral. Thus, Dragon does not have an implicit power in itself as an element. However, the Pals that possess the Dragon element are so extremely strong that it elevates the element as a whole.
Neutral pals have no offensive advantages over any other pal types. They are the only pal type that has no offensive advantage. Defensively, they are weak against Dark type pals and will receive 2x damage from them. They are not resistant to any type of pal.
Part of what makes this Pal so unsettling is how little is explained about it. The cryptic Paldeck entry for Astegon gives exceptionally little information, just that it was born out of the abyss. What is the abyss? What eldritch hole did this monster pawn from?
Dragon Element Pals have an Offensive advantage over Dark Type Pals dealing 2x damage to them, but their damage will be halved when fighting against Ice Type Pals. Defensively, they are resistance to Dark types, but will receive 2x damage from Dragon Type Pals.
There are many Pals in Palworld that have the Handiwork Work Suitability. Unlike the Cooling ability , handiwork is not tied to a specific type of pal - any type has the potential to have handiwork. Each pal with handiwork can have a level between 1 and 4 for their Handiwork ability. The higher the number, the faster they will be at completing the task. This Best Handiwork Pal Tier List shows each teir of Handiwork currently available in Palworld.
Not every Pal has a creepy or disturbing entry in the Paldeck, but for those who do, they can be wildly harrowing, taking the mostly cute and cuddly creatures of Palworld and casting a much darker shadow over their existence. If you’re wondering what the creepiest Pals you find around Palapagos, you’re going to have to check these out.
While the brazen bull might not have actually been used in the human world, the Menasting certainly is out and about torturing its victims in Palworld. So well known is this Pal’s way of eating that the Paldeck even mentions how you can hear its victims screaming as they are consumed inside.
When this Pal smells an impending death it will hang around, taking in the particular smell you give off. It doesn’t seem like it’ll do anything to stop it from happening or even really notify you that something is wrong, and likely you’ll never know exactly why it is staying near you. Either way, it might be a good idea to set up a doctor appointment if a Maraith becomes your friend.
Then, the Paldeck entry gets poetic, warning the reader to avoid standing in the presence of the Astegon, to not even acknowledge its existence. Even if you do though, just because you choose to ignore the beast, it does not mean that the beast will ignore you.
This terrifying Pal may look like a scorpion but it is a creature of unimaginable nightmares in reality. Despite looking like a solid creature, the Menasting is actually totally empty inside. Instead, a Menasting will take its prey and shove it inside its hollow shell, where it slowly dissolves it. Like the worse version of the brazen bull torture device from ancient history.
While there is a very strong argument that both Jormuntide and Jormuntide Ignis might be the best Dragon Pals in the game, Jetragon has just a tad bit more going for it than them. This jet plane of a Pal has slightly lower offensive stats and a bit better defensive ones. What makes Jetragon incredible is its speed and Partner Skill.
Throughout this list, we've mentioned a few times how Fire is the best element, and how being able to counter it is a huge boon for recruit Zoe Grizzbolt any Pal. Well, it then tracks that having the Fire element is even better. Jormuntide Ignis is the Dragon/Fire alternate version of Jormuntide, and it is so, so powerful.
The Cinnamoth’s Paldeck entry isn’t creepy because of anything the Cinnamoth did on its own , but instead because of what humans have done to it. Sniffing a Cinnamoth will cause ‘unparalleled euphoria’ when inhaled, much like a highly potent drug, and if there are little side effects to the act, it could lead to mass poaching of the sweet little moth.
