In order to progress through the game, you had to murder gang members, with the method of murder becoming quite graphic and obscene, in ways never seen before on any platform. It included things like suffocating people with plastic bags to the use of blunt force trauma. Manhunt created many problems for Rockstar due to its graphic nature. There were reports of a split in the company, with many people worried about how dark the game was. However, Rockstar was no stranger to controversy at the time, receiving a lot of attention over their previous GTA releases. However, Manhunt was even worse. The game was it was banned in New Zealand and confiscated in Germany. It received even more negative press when it was implicated in a UK murder, although the game was eventually absolved of all involvement. The reason Jax carries around a lamp is because authorities thought he was too strong to have a real weapon. So they wouldn’t allow him near any blade or bludgeoned end. He’s still incredibly annoying with that lantern and is so OP at times. But didn’t you wonder what caused him to go dark? Maybe…just maybe he lost his father at a young age. Not to passing exactly, but to a place beyond the stars. Bard would continue to wander the planet for years, rarely looking back for a second. He had bigger plans on his plate than carrying for a son
As you spend time with your horse, John Marston Farming you'll be able to increase its stamina and health the more that you ride it and care for it, such as feeding it, brushing it, and calming it when it's frightened or startled. Naturally, headshots are going to be your best option when taking on enemies as they will practically take out anything in one hit. So when faced with a large group of enemies ahead, or if you just need a moment to clear out an overwhelming gunfight, take your time to eliminate large groups of enemies with well-placed headshots rather than going for multiple shots on one target. Unless you really don't like the guy and just want to riddle them with bullets: then that's okay.
