As much as there is the draw to get through the story missions as quickly as possible, don't be afraid to take some time in between missions to let yourself be immersed in the rich world that awaits you in Red Dead Redemption 2 , such as exploring towns like Valentine or the big city of Saint Denis. Likewise, get the most of your Western experience by playing a round of poker at the local saloon or take in a vaudeville show when you have some down time, or interact with the rest of the Van der Linde gang back at camp to complete side activities with them.
That also goes for the band of characters that you'll interact with throughout the story, from both the familiar faces and the new characters that you'll encounter while roaming through the West with the Van der Linde gang. While there's the sheer novelty of getting to be reacquainted with characters like John Marston and Dutch Van der Linde for fans of the previous game, many of the new faces in Red Dead Redemption 2 prove to be just as memorable and engaging to interact with, such as the fierce and determined widow Sadie Adler, and the unpredictable hitman Micah Bell, who Arthur has a bit of a complicated relationship with. Over time and through your interactions with the rest of the Van der Linde gang, there is a clear sense of the gang's camaraderie and why Arthur is so fiercely protective of them, and getting to explore and gaming Narratives deepen these relationships with the other gang members is easily one of the highlights of Red Dead Redemption 2 's narrative thanks to its impeccable writing and strong performances.
One of the best examples of this deep sense of interaction with other characters and the environments comes from the Van der Linde gang's camp, which shifts locations at various points in the story and provides players with a place to call home while out completing missions and exploring the world. Aside from giving the player a place to eat, sleep, and renew Arthur's energy while out on his journey, the camp also provides ample opportunities to interact with the rest of the gang's familiar faces -- many of whom you'll be going out on missions with -- making it key to visit the camp every so often to see what sort of surprises may be in store there.
Ever hear of the legend of Lucky Luke? Yeah neither have I, dear readers. That's probably because it’s based on a series of French comics dating back to the late 40s. As obscure as it is I'm surprised there are so many games based on the character. I grabbed one for my favorite console, the Super Nintendo, and was not impressed. It looks good (resembling the comic to a degree), but I wouldn't call it exciting. Lucky Luke is slow as molasses in terms of walking and jumping, which makes platforming a needlessly hard challenge. Shooting is no better either. Worse yet, your objective is not clearly defined in a level. I don't expect games to hold my hand, but give me a break. At least try to be decent to your play

Unsurprisingly there are a lot of light gun games depicting the Wild West. Revolvers are on of the most iconic guns out there, and everyone knows the best parts of any Western are the shootouts. It’s a natural fit for a video game, but unfortunately, most of these games are bad. Take Lethal Enforcers II for example. This was made for arcades back when developers thought it was a cool idea to digitize actors instead of creating new character sprites. Surprise, surprise Red Dead Redemption 2 got delayed. Smugness aside that sucks! I was hoping it was going to follow the trend of Fallout 4 by being in development for years without an official peep to then be revealed with a relatively quick date. Again it’s upsetting, but I at least know Rockstar is going to do their best so the wait will be worth it. However, I was really itching for a new game set in the Wild West, which got me thinking. How many are other Western games there? Obviously, there's the first Red Dead Redemption and then the completely different Red Dead Revolver on PS2.
